AAB Patterns with Colors: Complete the Pattern
Free printable pattern worksheet with colored balloons: six rows where two of one thing, then one of another (A, A, B) repeat. Say each row aloud, then color the empty balloons to finish each row.
On the sheet
Find the pattern. Color the empty balloons with the right color.
How to use it
Read each row together, naming the pictures in a rhythm ("apple, banana, apple, banana…"); the pattern is easier to hear than to see. Ask what comes next before your child circles or draws it. Clapping or tapping the pattern helps too.
